Case study on Online Backup

The Company - An FSA regulated and compliant Fund Management Company with 40 users based in Central London.

The Scenario

The company has a number of Windows Servers – Exchange Server, Sequel Server and Blackberry Enterprise Server – and 400GB of data.

The Requirement

To be able to recover their data in the event of access to the building being blocked due to a major event within Central London. A further requirement is to have standby servers to enable a quicker recovery. This is for the company to stay in line with their FSA regulations.

The Solution

Prosyn provided Attix5 Online Backup, hosted at an IBM Data Centre in Essex. A virtual server (VMWare) standby environment was also provided to enable faster recovery.

The Result

In the event of any emergencies which may prevent users from accessing data, a backup system is now in place.
