About Roy Castleman – Managing Director

Roy has been working in IT in the City since 1996, working on amongst other things:

• Supporting SME businesses of 10-200 users in size in the financial markets
• Designed, built and commissioned over 100 networks in the periods from 1997-2002 and significantly more since then
• Completed Cisco’s CCNP and designed and built multilayer switching networks for organisations that left the Liffe floor when it went electronic
• Provisioned a shared disaster recovery office in the west end for city clients including NeverFail servers
• Assisted a range of clients in backups and disaster recovery being one of the first organisations to provide online backup on the Asegra platform through Intechnology
• Prosyn Ltd was then started in 2002
• Keeping pace with the current technologies Roy has steered the company through the growth of Cisco VoIP, VMware, the latest backup and security solutions, Riverbed and Cisco WAAS wide area networks
• Roy has achieved many qualifications from Microsoft MCSE, HP technician (ASE), Sage CRM and line 50 engineer, Cisco WAAS consultant, a range of other Cisco and industry accreditations
